Free Neighborhood Delivery

We offer free neighborhood deliver for orders over $30 (pre-tax) from Houston Street to 42nd Street.

We can generally accommodate same day delivery within two hours of placing the order but may have to push it to the next day depending on volume.

Time for same day delivery is generally 30 minutes after opening to 30 minutes before closing.

Someone over the age of 21 must be available at the time of the delivery.  This can include front desk staff.

Delivery outside of the Neighborhood

We deliver for a delivery charge anywhere in Manhattan below 90th St on orders over $60 (pre-tax).

Shipping

We use FedEx and other national carriers for ground shipping. Standard alcohol shipping rates apply. Packages must be signed for by an adult 21 years or older.  If no one is available to receive the package when delivery is attempted, FedEx leaves a notice and attempts delivery two more times if you do not arrange for another delivery time.  If the package is returned to us your order may be subject to a return fee for a missed delivery.

SPIRITS MAY ONLY BE SHIPPED WITHIN NEW YORK STATE.

***Due to restrictive regulations, we currently cannot accept orders for shipment to the following states***

Alabama, Arkansas, Delaware, Illinois, Kentucky, Massachusetts, Michigan, Mississippi, New Jersey, Oklahoma, Rhode Island, South Dakota, Texas, Utah, and Vermont.

We generally ship by Fedex Ground and simply charge you our cost. This cost will be shown to you at check-out before you finalize your order.

If you prefer overnight or other expedited shipping, please call us at 646-370-6454 and we will let you know what options are available and any additional charges that may apply. We generally ship out once per week and shipping may take 5-7 days for receipt.

PLEASE NOTE IF THE WEATHER IS PARTICULARLY HOT OR COLD IN EITHER NYC OR THE DESTINATION WE WILL NOT SHIP WINEunless you request otherwise in writing. We will hold the wine for you at no charge until it is safe to ship.

Title on all wine or spirits passes to the buyer at the time of purchase in the state of New York. If you require that your wine be shipped, you authorize Winsome Wines to engage a common carrier to deliver the wine on your behalf. IF YOU CHOOSE TO SHIP YOUR WINE TO A NON-RECIPROCAL STATE, YOU ASSUME ALL RESPONSIBILITY FOR COMPLYING WITH YOUR STATE’S LAWS REGARDING ALCOHOL SHIPMENTS.

 

You must be 21 years of age to order or receive alcoholic beverages from Winsome Wines. Any shipments containing alcoholic beverages are sent with an “Adult Signature Required” sticker, and the common carrier that delivers our merchandise is required to ask and check for identification upon delivery. This means that you will have to be present at the time of delivery.

 

Because we have no control over the temperature conditions at any 3rd party carriers’ warehouses, we always attempt to deliver wines to our 3rd party carrier at the beginning of each week so that you can receive your wine before the weekend. As a result, your wine may not be delivered to our 3rd party carrier the day that you place your order. Please understand that during business hours, your orders are immediately packaged and scheduled for delivery, but may be delayed until ideal conditions for shipment arise.

 

You are reminded that various states impose limitations on the quantity of alcoholic beverages which may be purchased and brought into their jurisdiction without requiring the purchaser, the seller or the shipper to possess certain licenses or permits. Winsome Wines does NOT, as a condition of sale, assume any obligation nor bear any responsibility whatsoever for applying for or obtaining any such permits or licenses. Therefore, you are strongly advised to investigate such limitations and to determine the manner in which alcoholic beverages may lawfully be brought into states other than New York. Your are responsible for all applicable excise, use and sales taxes due to your state related to the purchase of any taxable goods.

 

Winsome Wines makes no representation to the legal rights of anyone to ship or import wines into any state outside of New York. The Buyer is solely responsible for the shipment of wines and is responsible for any loss or damage to goods once they have left our premises. By placing an order, you authorize Winsome Wines to act on your behalf to engage a common carrier to deliver your order to you.
